Liz Cruz

.....Passionate Bookkeeper

My personal and professional life experiences have taught me that with the right knowledge and skill-set, anyone can achieve financial independence and stability, both in their businesses and personal lives. I’m here to share my knowledge with you, to learn with you and to ensure that we are not in the dark about the things that can have such a huge impact on our lives!

About Me

I’m Liz Cruz and I am a passionate bookkeeper! If that seems like an oxymoron to you, trust me, it’s not! I believe that when it comes to understanding the issues facing businesses and personal finance, there’s nothing more engaging and interesting than working on creative, effective solutions and watching the positive results of your work! My aim with is to share my professional insights into the world of financial responsibility and to provide useful and usable bookkeeping, tax and financial information that is accessible to everyone!

I’ve always been interested in the business world, from bookkeeping basics to help family business during high school to later manage my own family business. I’ve been a Dave Ramsey Financial Peace facilitator for several years, and have worked in the positions of a Technical/Software Trainer (from banking software to ERP and CRM systems), Project Manager, Business Consultant and Bookkeeper, for numerous companies.

My years of experience working with various firms and entrepreneurs (from large businesses to independent business owners) have given me an opportunity to develop and use my technical skills, as well as given me invaluable insights into how to manage a budget, and the implementation of business processes.

My experience in Bookkeeping, Personal Finance Management and Tax Preparation, as well as my technical skills on a variety of relevant software programs has come in handy not only in my professional life, but also in the making of my own decisions plus the technical support I provide to my family, friends and associates. It’s on their encouragement that I decided to finally start offering my services and this blog.

What I Blog About:

The plan is to use this blog as a platform to share my budgeting and bookkeeping tips, tax planning insights, as well as my own takes on relevant current affairs and up-to-date financial news.

My blogs are intended to be read, understood, enjoyed, and actually used by specialists in the field and laypeople alike. Professionals don’t need to be concerned about being too bored with the content, and laypeople need not worry about getting lost in the jargon. My intention is for everyone to read something interesting and useful.
